Body found in Fazakerley confirmed as missing Peter Kerevan

Merseyside Police can confirm that the body found near to the Liverpool Municipal Golf Club in Fazakerley on Tuesday, 10 September is that of missing man Peter Kerevan.

Peter, 76, went missing from his home address in Aintree on Monday 29 July.

There is nothing to suggest there is anything suspicious surrounding his death and the matter has now been referred to the coroner.

Peter’s family have been informed and pass their sincere thanks for the support of everyone involved, and ask now that their privacy be respected at this difficult time.
