A temporary flight restriction zone for drones will be in force over Royal Birkdale Golf Club during The 154th Open Championship as part of the policing operation for the major sporting event. Fire crews were called to a serious house fire on Oaklands Avenue in Crosby during the early hours of this morning. Crews were alerted at 5.43am and arrived on scene at 5.48am, with three fire engines in attendance.
