Sefton Bubble has been informed of a deeply concerning incident that took place on a Merseyrail train travelling through our area, and British Transport Police are urgently appealing for witnesses. On Friday 7th November, during the 5.50pm service from Formby to Liverpool Central, a woman was targeted by a male passenger who allegedly attempted to set her hair on fire several times. The man is believed to have boarded the train at Waterloo, sitting directly behind the victim.
