Today will be generally cloudy with some light rain and drizzle at times. It will turn increasingly murky over higher ground with some mist and fog developing over the hill tops. It will however feel mild in light winds. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Tonight:

Largely cloudy this evening with some clear spells. Further rain spreading southwards overnight with a few heavier bursts in places. Mostly mild but turning clearer and colder in Cumbria later. Minimum temperature 4 °C.
