Community Spirit Shines as Santa Float Raises Over £13,000

Christmas cheer has been spread far and wide across Crosby, Waterloo, Thornton and Hightown this year – and it’s all thanks to the incredible kindness and generosity of local residents.

The Santa Float team has shared their huge appreciation to everyone who came out to wave, donate, and support their annual Christmas collections, revealing that together the community has raised over £13,000 for local charities and good causes.

“Because of your generosity, we have raised over £13,000 which will all be going to local charities and good causes,” the team said.

They also extended a special thank you to the dedicated volunteers who braved the wind and rain to help collect donations along the route:

“Without your support we would not be able to bring the Santa Float around.”

The final message to Sefton residents was filled with festive warmth:

“We wish everyone a Happy Christmas and a Good New Year.”

What a fantastic achievement – and yet another shining example of community spirit at its very best.
