Please do not try and come to Ainsdale or Formby, all roads from Brooms Cross are completely gridlocked. The beaches are completely full and overcrowded and there are mile long queues in every direction. There is no space in Formby either, all car parks are full. Police have coned off all roads in the vicinity of the beach so no parking anywhere.

“If you’re considering visiting us today, we’d encourage you to walk, cycle or safely use public transport or perhaps find a different place to enjoy this sunny day out in the North West.” ”Thank you for not blocking roads, pavements and driveways as not only does this put pressure on the local community it also creates access issues for emergency services.” “You can find out more about other great places to visit in the North West here https://bit.ly/2Sfg4D7” “We look forward to welcoming you on a quieter day. We’re open 7 days a week all year round.” “Thank you for your support and understanding. Together we can make sure Formby is a happy, healthy and safe place for everyone to visit.”

At the beach today? What are you going to do with your rubbish?
✅Take everything home with you
✅Use the bins – we’ve put larger bins & skips at busy locations
✅Bin full? Our Rangers are prioritising emptying them & general litter picking, but do your bit & take it home!
