Man and woman arrested in Sefton, large amount of cash and two stolen vehicles recovered

Merseyside Police Operation Pelican Officers arrested a 23-year-old female and a 24-year-old male from the #Bootle area for Drug Supply, Handling Stolen Goods and Money Laundering.

A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "Officers sighted a drug transaction in the #Walton area and detained the female involved. Officers have arrested the female and carried out a search at an address in Bootle."

"During their search Officers have recovered approximately £15,000 in cash and two outstanding stolen motor vehicles. A male located in the address was then arrested."

"Both remain in custody awaiting questioning."
