Man Taken to Hospital Following Crash on Crosby Road South, Seaforth

Emergency services closed part of Crosby Road South in Seaforth this afternoon following a road traffic collision involving a black Mercedes and a white Seat Leon.
Merseyside Police were called to the scene at around 1.15pm on Tuesday 10 February. One of the drivers was taken to hospital with a head injury.
A road closure remains in place while emergency services continue to deal with the incident.
A spokesperson for the force said:
“At around 1.15pm this afternoon we received a report of a collision on Crosby Road South involving a black Mercedes and a white Seat Leon.”
Motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible and allow extra time for their journeys. Updates will be shared if and when further confirmed information becomes available.
