Met Office Issues Weather Warning as Storm Claudia Approaches Sefton

The Met Office have issued a YELLOW weather warning for localised flooding in this area, as a result of Storm Claudia.

The rain is forecast to start at midnight tonight (Thursday 13th November) and for rain to continue until 08:00am on SATURDAY 15th.

Wind speeds of up 26mph are also forecast.

Drivers should ensure they drive to the road conditions. Motorcyclists and cyclists should consider alternative transport where possible.

Localised flooding may cause further issues.

Pedestrians should be mindful of the risk of falling debris and poor visibility for drivers.
