Exciting news for Crosby and the wider Sefton community, a brand-new café with a strong community focus is coming soon to the heart of Crosby Village.
Open Heavens Cafe will be opening its second location in Liverpool, building on the success of its established café in Bangor, North Wales. The new venue will be based at the former Storyhouse site and aims to be much more than just a place to grab a coffee.
The team behind Open Heavens Café say the name reflects their belief that encountering love, kindness and faith can be life-changing. Their vision is to create a warm, welcoming space that serves excellent food and drink while also acting as a hub for connection, conversation and support within the community.
Alongside its café offering, the venue hopes to host worship, prayer and ministry events, creating a place where people can feel encouraged, listened to and valued. The team describe their mission as being “a light in the community,” open to everyone.
As preparations continue, Open Heavens Café is inviting local people to get involved. They are currently looking for support through prayer, volunteer opportunities and sponsorship as they bring this new venture to life.
The café will join a growing number of Christ-centred cafés appearing across the region, all focused on community, compassion and connection.
More details will be shared soon, watch this space.
