Coastal Conditions Along the Sefton Coast
Residents along the Sefton coastline, including Formby, Ainsdale and Crosby, should also be aware that high tide is at 5:13pm (6.37m). Due to the strong winds, the sea may appear higher and rougher than usual, with large waves and sea spray possible along exposed coastal areas.
Anyone visiting the beach, seafront or dunes today is urged to take extra care, as powerful waves can easily sweep people off their feet even from the shoreline.

Please take extra care if you are out and about across Sefton today, particularly near the coast and in exposed areas.
