Still huge delays northbound at the Seaforth Flyover after a serious RTC this afternoon

The Seaforth Flyover in Crosby is still closed due to an earlier RTC with huge traffic queues going northbound backed up to Outdoor World. From Crosby towards Liverpool is not too bad at all but traffic toward Crosby is still huge delays.

The two  main roads were closed this afternoon after a car and a motorbike crashed.

A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: “The crash happened at around 1.40pm today and involved a red Ford Fiesta and a motorbike. The motorcyclist is believed to be in a serious condition.”

Arriva North West have warned passengers of route diversions following the crash.

Rimrose Road/Knowsley Road services 47/54/63 are diverting both ways via Cambridge Road/Sandringham Road, Seaforth Road and Linacre Road.
