We would like to let the community know about a special charity concert taking place in March 2026 at St Michael’s Church, Crosby, which promises to be a truly beautiful and memorable evening.
The concert will feature 14 talented musicians travelling from Oxford University, who are kindly covering their own travel and accommodation costs in order to perform in support of St Michael’s Church Renovation Fund. Every penny raised from ticket sales will go directly towards helping to restore and preserve this much-loved local church for future generations.
The ensemble, Vocatio:Responsio, is a well-established early-music group based in Oxford. It is directed by a former pupil of St Michael’s CE High School, who also returns to Crosby during university holidays to work as a resident organist at St Michael’s Church, accompanying services and supporting the church’s musical life.
