The wait is over for The Bus Yard, fully licensed bar, food and roof top terrace at Crosby Marina

The Bus Yard is coming to Crosby Marina with Fully Licensed Bar, High End food and roof-top terrace this week.

The Bus Yard is a fully licensed bar on Crosby beach. How do you fancy sitting and watching the sun set over our beautiful Bubble with a beer or a cocktail and some quality food?

Well that’s what we can look forward to from Tuesday 18th May at 11am when the Bus Yard finally opens at Crosby Marina.

The bus yard is an outdoor space with a converted double decker bus, fully licensed mobile bar with a roof top terrace and a kitchen container with the finest street food around.

The Bus Yard is a pop up event that will be at Crosby Marina for a 28 day period.

A spokesperson for The Bus Yard said: “We have converted a bus and it has a mobile bar with a roof top terrace and also converted a shipping container for our kitchen.”

“We have licensed a gated space down at the Crosby Marina to bring something great to the area. We have a bank of amazing chefs that will be creating a great menu for the site providing unbelievable street food. The bar will be offering great coffees, teas, cocktails and premium beers.”

“There will also be Live Music by means of an acoustic singer.”

“I’ve seen a few comments in crosby groups with peoples concerns about plastic, litter and people getting drunk on the beach.”

“I will answer that by saying, we have been working with Sefton council for just on a year with this project and we have discussed all eventualities on what might go on down there.”

“We are pleased to say that we will not be selling anything with plastic in. All packaging will be biodegradable and we will have plenty of recyclable bins about.”

“We will also have staff to litter pick to make sure to protect this beautiful Sefton coastline.”

“We have a specific licensed area, so if people are buying alcohol it must be consumed within our gated premises so that we can regulate and minimise the risk of public nuisance. All covid safe with all risk assessments in place. We can assure anyone with concerns about this!”

“We have also raised all the same concerns but we will put everything in place to make this a safe and great thing for the local area.”

“Anywhere you go in the world where there is a beach, you will always find a little bar selling great food and drink so why not in Crosby? We will be bringing high end food and drink.”

“We are also opening a permanent outdoor space down at the Baltic (Cain’s brewery site) next month which is also great food and drink with a difference. This site will be a lot bigger space with the Bus plus another bus, bar food, shipping containers, booth containers and Tuk Tuk dessert station.”

“We have 28 days at the marina and want to make it a big Success in the hope that we will be invited back for more of a semi-permanent event.”

Opening on Tuesday 18th May at 11am
