Merseyside Police raided a pub in #Waterloo earlier tonight, Saturday 18th September as part of their ongoing ‘Operation Pelican’.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: ”Operation Pelican Officers have tonight arrested 3 adult males in the #Waterloo area for Drug Supply Offences after a warrant was executed at a local pub.”
“Operation Pelican Officers were assisted by South Sefton Community and Sefton Targeted Teams in executing the warrant after community intelligence led to officers obtaining a warrant for a search of the premises.”
“During a search of the premises, a large amount of suspected cocaine, mixing agent and drug paraphernalia was seized, also located was a large amount of cash, believed to be in excess of £45,000, that is believed to be from the proceeds of crime.”
“Operation Pelican will continue their hard work in cracking down on drug supply in the area and disrupt serious and organised crime.”
