Traffic building up at Switch Island and some of Brooms Cross has been blocked by police after RTC

A car is on its side and traffic is queuing after an RTC at Switch Island.

Emergency services were called to Dunnings Bridge Road at Switch Island on Friday, August 4, following reports of a crash. Once Merseyside Police and Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service arrived at the scene they found two cars had crashed and one was on its side.

Police are currently blocking a section of Brooms Cross Road heading to Thornton.
