Tragic Death of Three-Year-Old Boy Following Brownmoor Lane Incident

Merseyside Police have confirmed that a three-year-old boy has sadly died following an incident at a property on Brownmoor Lane in Crosby on Saturday evening (18 July).
Many residents contacted us after seeing a significant emergency services response in the area, with multiple police vehicles and ambulances in attendance. There had been speculation on social media about the nature of the incident.
Police have now confirmed that emergency services were called following a report that a three-year-old boy had fallen into a pond at the address.
Despite the efforts of the North West Ambulance Service and emergency responders, the child was taken to hospital where he was tragically pronounced deceased.
Merseyside Police said officers are continuing to support the boy’s family, and enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding what happened.
This is an incredibly heartbreaking incident, and our thoughts are with the child’s family, friends and everyone affected during this devastating time.
