Tragic Incident in Kirkdale as Woman Found Deceased inside a car

Emergency services were called to Mosslake Way, Kirkdale, at approximately 6:25pm on Tuesday, June 10, following reports of concern for the safety of a woman in her 40s.

Merseyside Police have confirmed that the woman was found deceased inside a car. At this stage, her death is being treated as unexplained, though there are no suspicious circumstances. Investigations are ongoing, and the woman’s next of kin have been informed.

A significant police presence was observed on Lambeth Road on Tuesday evening, with officers blocking access to the area. Ambulance crews and a first responder paramedic were also on the scene. Neighbours shared that passers-by rushed to help, administering CPR until emergency teams arrived.

One neighbour, Dave, told us: “She was a lovely person, always said hello. It’s so sad. I only saw her a few hours earlier outside her house as I was on my way to Sainsbury’s.”
