Trustees’ Week Event: Sefton CVS to hold event to promote and celebrate trustees. Trustees’ Week Event will be held at Crosby Lakeside on 10th November from 6pm to 8pm.

National Trustees’ Week (7-11 November) is a time to recognise, promote and celebrate the role of charity trustees.

Sefton CVS is holding an event to celebrate Trustees’ Week and to encourage more people to become a trustee for local charities.

“The role of the trustee is an essential part of the voluntary and charity sector. Those who choose to become trustees can make a difference to their local community,” Said Maggi Aslet, Development Officer for Sefton CVS.

The Trustees’ Week Event due to take place at Crosby Lakeside on 10th November between 6pm to 8pm will include an introduction to the trustee role and details of current trustee opportunities with local charities with guidance on information available to support this important role in charity governance, activity and development.

"We hope this event will help promote the important role of trustee and connect those who have the right skills with local charities," said Aslet.
