Two arrested and drugs and cash seized following stop check in Maghull. Merseyside Police have arrested two men and seized drugs, cash and paraphernalia following a stop check in Maghull last night, Monday 11 June.
At around 11.20pm, officers stop checked a Toyota on Eastway due to the car having no MOT and a faulty headlight. Two men were detained.
A search of the car found cash, scales, cannabis and further suspected drugs. A further search of a house in Southport Road, Lydiate led to further suspected drugs and paraphernalia being found.
A 27-year-old man from Banff in Aberdeenshire, Scotland was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs.
A 17-year-old male from Lydiate was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs.
Both men have been taken to police stations for questioning.
