Two males arrested in Sefton for Drug and Firearms offences
Operation Pelican Officers have arrested a 55-year-old male from #Waterloo and a 41-year-old male from #Kirkdale for Drug Supply Offences, Firearms Offences, and Possession of a bladed article.
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "Officers sighted the two males involved in drugs transactions in the #Waterloo area. Officers have quickly acted detaining both males."
"During a search numerous wraps of suspected Crack Cocaine have been recovered with cash and mobile phones. Also located within the vehicle was a multitool with a fixed blade."
"Officers have then carried out searches in a local address and located a replica firearm and live rounds of ammunition. These have been seized for further examination."
"The 41-year-old male remains in custody awaiting questioning by detectives, the 55-year-old male has been released under investigation."
