Family Appeal to Reach Friends of Bootle Man John Gannon Ahead of His Funeral

We have been asked to share the sad news of the passing of John Gannon, who was born and bred in Bootle.

John’s daughter, Nikki, has asked us to share his funeral arrangements in the hope of reaching friends and people who may have known him over the years.

Nikki only made contact with her dad six years ago and, as a result, does not know many of his friends from Bootle. She would therefore be very grateful if people could share this announcement so that those who knew John have the opportunity to pay their respects.

John’s funeral service will take place at Thornton Crematorium on Wednesday 12th August at 3pm, followed by a wake at The Netherton pub.

Our thoughts are with Nikki, John’s family, friends and everyone who knew him at this sad time.
