Reports of suspected bogus callers in the Crosby area
There have recently been a number of reports of suspected bogus callers around the #Crosby area.
To help protect yourself against scammers remember:
⛔ STOP - Are you expecting anyone? Do they have an appointment?
🔗 CHAIN - Secure the door bar or chain before opening the door
🎫 CHECK - Ask for & double check the caller's ID
If in doubt, do not let callers into your home, and do not provide them with any personal details.
You can contact Merseyside Police to report suspected Bogus Callers either via 101 or searching "Merseyside Police CC" here on Facebook. Remember in the event of emergency to contact police via 999.
